Leo Hoffman, longtime Le Mars resident passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital, Le Mars April 1, after a sickness of two weeks. He resided at 19 2nd Avenue Southeast.

Mr. Hoffman was born March 15, 1885 in Merrill. He was married to Susan Elizabeth Wilhelmi who preceded him in death. He was retired at, the present, time. He was a member of the Eagles Club, Elks Club, Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Wiltgen-Luedtke Funeral home who has charge.

Surviving are nine children; Vincent J. of Ramona, California; Colette C. Nagel of Toledo, Iowa; Clara Reiner of Marietta, Georgia; Eugene V. of Los Angeles; Major Kenneth L. of Bangkok, Thailand; Mary Lantaff of Lincoln, Nebraska; Armella Groetken of Long Beach; James L. of Washington, D. C. and Francis Kelly of Le Mars.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a son in infancy.

Funeral services for Leo M. Hoffman who resided at 19 2nd Avenue Southeast in Le Mars and who passed away Monday, April 4 at Sacred Heart Hospital were held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 7 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Le Mars. Rt. Rev. Msgr, J. D. Fisch officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Wiltgen-Luedke Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Leo Nemmers, Paul Traufler, Leo , Drecknman. John Kmpker, James Waite and Leo Dreckman.
