Kathryn Adden, 94, longtime Le Mars resident, died Monday (June 22, 1987) at Plymouth Manor Care Center.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. Tom Lee will officiate and burial will be in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.

She was born March 16, 1893, at Wenona, Ill., the daughter of Louis and Amelia Wenzloff Stenzel.

Her marriage to Henry Adden took place Dec. 20, 1923, in Le Mars. He died in 1968. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church, the A.L.C.W., and had resided in Le Mars since her marriage.

Survivors are two nieces and two nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers.
