Mrs. Eva Diedrich, former resident of Le Mars, died at 1230 So. Emerson street, Denver, Monday, of heart failure. She had not been well for a year, and had been in bed a week.

Mrs. Diedrich was born Feb. 9, 1859, at Trier, Germany, and at the time of her death was 76 years, and 7 months old. She came to the United States with her parents when she was 12 years old, and first lived at Evanston, Ill., for several years. Later she came to O'Brien county and married Frank Diedrich, services being held in St. Joseph's church at Le Mars.

Surviving are five sons and two daughters; Nick Diedrich, Cherokee; Mrs. Mike Fisch, Granville; Jake and Pete Diedrich, Milford; Nick and Rose Diedrich, Denver; and John Diedrich, St. Joe, Mich. Her husband, a son William and daughter Mary, and an infant daughter preceded her in death.

The funeral was held this morning Wiltgen's in charge. Services were held in St. Josephs Church here in Le Mars, Mgr. J. D. Fisch officiating, and burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
