Robert Leo Theeler; 53, Akron, died Jan. 24, 1977 in the Akron hospital after an illness of two weeks.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 27 in the Schroeder funeral home. The Rev. Durwood Clausen will officiate, burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Theeler was born Feb. 17, 1924, in Wessington Springs, S.D. He was a truck driver. He married Darlene Jensen, Feb. 16,1947 in Sioux City. He later married Ida Anderson, Aug 7 1963 in Albert Lea, Minn.

Survivors include the widow; eight sons, Steve, Michael, Donald and Troy, all of Akron, and Robert Jr.,, Craig, Rick and John, all of Sioux City; five daughters, Mrs. Pam Mullen of South Sioux City, Misses Pat, Debra, Theresa and Tracy, all of Akron; a step-daughter, Mrs. Pat Horton of Hawarden; two step-sons, Rick Classon of Salix and Larry Classon of Stockton; a brother, Wesley of Salix; and nine grandchildren.
