Mrs. Dorothy Frerichs, of Le Mars, a life-long resident of Plymouth County, passed away Saturday, February 27, at Sacred Heart Hospital in that city, after a several months illness, aged 47 years, 5 months and 6 days.

Dorothy Wilhelmina Harms was born Sept. 15, 1912, on a farm near Le Mars. Her marriage to John H. Frerichs took place April 13, 1937, at Elk Point, S. D. He died in 1954.

She was also preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Frerichs was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church and the Ladies Aid.

Surviving are three children, Dennis, Dean and Nancy, all of Le Mars; her mother, Mrs. Earl (Anna) Gale, of Akron; two step-brothers, Arden Gale, of Akron and Jack Gale, of Sioux City, and a stepsister, Lavada Gale, of Akron.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars, Rev. L. L. Belk officiating. Interment was in the Le- Mars city cemetery.
