Mrs. Mary Welch, a resident of Westfield Township, passed away Monday, November 28, in Akron Community Hospital, where she had been taken for medical attention following a fall at her home. She was 82 years, 4 months and 29 days of age.

Mrs. Welch was born June 30, 1873, in Plymouth County and had lived in the Westfield community most of her life; Her husband died in 1925.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Carl Tobin, of Westfield, and Mrs. Daryl Taylor, of Akron; five sons, William, of Sioux Falls; John, of Lake Andes, S. D.; Matthew, of. Elk Point, S. D,; Joe, of Homer, Nebr., and Mike, of Westfield; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren,

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rev. J. G. Skahill officiating. Burial was in the-local Catholic cemetery.
