MRS. ALFRED D. HORTON

Mrs. Alfred D. Horton, 94, of Hawarden, died Jan. 7, 1977, in a Hawarden rest home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. William Carel will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Dow funeral home, Hawarden.

Mrs. Horton, the former Anne Doctor, was born Feb. 12, 1882, at LeMars. When she was a child, her family moved to Chicago and later they moved to Hawarden. She was married in October 1902. Mr. Horton died Feb. 23, 1967.

Mrs. Horton was a member of St. Mary Catholic church, the Mutual Improvement Club of Hawarden, the American Legion auxiliary, the Hawarden Golf Club and other organizations.

Survivors include one son, Charles M., of Hawarden.
