MRS. WILLIAM GERRIETTS

Mrs. William Gerrietts, 82, of LeMars, died Jan. 7, 1977, at Floyd Valley hospital after a brief illness.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John American Lutheran Church. Rev. Arnold Imbrock officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery with Luken-Johnson Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Gerrietts, the former Anna Renken, was born Feb. 4, 1894, in Grant township to Jurgen and Wilhelmine Berg, Plymouth County.

She was married Sept. 3, 1913, in LeMars. Mr. and Mrs. Gerrietts moved to the Akron area from Bartonville, Ill., in 1917 and farmed there. They moved to LeMars in 1942.

Mr. Gerrietts died in 1965.

Mrs. Gerrietts was a member of St. John American Lutheran Church.

Survivors are a son, Delmar of Akron; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Voss, of LeMars, and a brother, George of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, four brothers and four sisters.
