MRS. LEANDER BOETGER

Mrs. Leander H. Boetger, 75, of Akron, died Jan. 5, 1977, in the hospital at Mitchell, S.D., of an apparent heart attack.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Akron. Rev. David Roy will officiate and burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Akron. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.

Mrs. Boetger, the former Ella Marie Erickson, was born Dec. 30, 1901, at Adaville. She was married March 4, 1921, in Elk Point, S.D. They farmed their entire lives in the Akron and Hawarden area before retiring to Akron in 1952. Mr. Boetger died in 1970.

Survivors are three sons, Donald and Arden, both of Akron, and Lowell of Millard, Neb.; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Betty) Helweg of Mitchell; a sister, Mrs. Herbert (Agnes) Miller of Akron; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
