Anna M. Klemme, 98, Le Mars, a Plymouth County native, and lifelong resident, died Wednesday (Jan. 19, 1990) at the Akron Care Center.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Merrill. Rev. Frank Philipp officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Mauer-Johnson Funeral home, Le Mars.

The former Anna Ohlrich was born March 11. 1891, in Plymouth County to Fritz and Dena Stafford Ohlrich. She married Edwin W. Klemme Feb. 12,1910 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Merrill where she was a lifelong member and a member of the Indies aid.

She is survived by a daughter, Ella A. Utesch of Akron; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Mrs. William (Pearl) Toel; three brothers, Henry, John and Herman and two sisters, Mary Herzberg and Kate Herzberg.
