Louise E. Larson, 77, former Sioux City resident, died Monday, Dec. 25, 1989. in a nursing home in Denver after a long illness.

Services were Saturday in First Covenant Church in Sioux City with Rev. Marc Peterson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Nelson- Berger Northside Chapel.

Mrs. Larson, the former Louise E. Anderson, was born May 23,1912, in Pierson, Ia. She attended rural school in Plymouth County and graduated from Sunnyside High School near Westfield, Ia. She married Aivid Larson Feb. 26,1939, in Sioux City. The couple moved to Sioux City in 1941. She was employed in the stationery department of Younkers for 20 years, retiring in 1981. Mr. Larson died Oct. 14, 1979, in Sioux City. She moved to Denver in 1983. Mrs. Larson was a member of First Covenant Church in Sioux City.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Barbara) Lownsberry of Littleton, Colo., and Janet Larson of Livonia, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Hathaway and Mrs. Marjorie Deviney, both of Sioux City, a brother, Henry Anderson of Waterloo, and two grandchildren.
