BODY OF FORMER RESIDENT BURIED IN CITY CEMETERY FRIDAY

The body of Mrs. Bertha Schulz was brought to LeMars and buried Friday in the Sawyer lot in the City Cemetery. Her husband, Lieut. Schulz of the U.S. Army, and a sister, Mrs. Lola Tomlinson, who has a federal position in Los Angeles, California, postoffice, accompanied the remains.

Mrs. Schulz is a daughter of Mrs. A. D. Tomlinson, member of a pioneer family in LeMars. Mrs. Tomlinson is a daughter of Rev. Sawyer, an early Congregational minister here, and is still living in Los Angeles at the advanced age of 89 years. Brief services at the cemetery in LeMars were conducted by Rev. John Oerter, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church.
