Lowell G. Hoschler, 65, of Phoenix, Ariz., former Akron resident, died Oct. 7, 1992 during surgery following a heart attack in the VA Medical Center in Phoenix. Internment was at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Mr. Hoschler, was born June 12, 1927 in Union County, South Dakota, the son of William and Henrietta (Burke) Hoschler. He served in the U.S. navv during World War II in the Pacific Theater, He was a graduate of the University of South Dakota and received his masters degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. He taught school for many years.

Survivors include three brothers, Leo B. Hoschler of Sacramento, Calif., Dennis K. Hoschler of Onatario, Calif., and Edward J. Hoschler of Sherwood, Arkansas; and one sister, Mrs. Bernard (Olive) Callahan of Elk Point, S.D.
