Archie Eugene Heath, 63, Boise, Idaho, a former Elk Point resident, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1992 in a Boise hospital.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Star Cemetery under directions of the
Summers Funeral Home, Eagle Chapel.

Mr. Heath was born April 1, 1929, in Westfield, Iowa, the son of Harvey and Marie Heath. He married Doris Mae Allshouse Sept. 8, 1948 in Elk Point. He owned and operated a service station and a custom farming company. He had worked at Armour & Co. and also operated a plumbing service with his father in North Sioux City for 15 years.

In 1964, he moved to California where he worked at Cal Trans
(California Transportation) until his retirement 25 years later. He
moved to Boise after his retirement.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Heath of Boise
and Michael D. and his wife, Nancy Heath of Eagle; a
daughter Joan Marie and her husband, Raymond Crews of
Azusa, Calif.; his mother, Marie Heath of North Sioux City; a
brother, Edward Colyer of Sergeant Bluff; grandchildren, Russel
II and Samuel Ferris of Azusa, Calif., and Christopher and Shannon Heath of Eagle, Idaho; five nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Heath; a
sister, Lulu Loetz; and a brother, Pete Heath.
