Eunice L. Hayden, 67, Westfield, died unexpectedly Friday, May 8, 1992, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services were Tuesday at Riverside Lutheran Church in Sioux City. Burial was in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City, under direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Hayden, the former Eunice L. Ritchie was born Nov. 7, 1924 in Le Mars. She graduated from the Union Consolidated school in 1942 and attended Western Union College (Westmar) in Le Mars. She married Theodore A. Hayden, Aug. 9, 1952, in Fremont, Neb. She had been a lifelong resident of Plymouth County.

Mrs. Hayden was a member of Riverside Lutheran Church, Sioux City.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Teresa and Jim Kay of Hampton, Va.; a son, Dale Hayden of North Sioux City; her mother, Magdalena Ritchie of rural Kingsley, a brother, Joseph Ritchie and his wife, Wilma of Kingsley; and two granddaughters, Sarah Elizbeth of Hampton, Va., and Stephanie L. Wright of Glenwood, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Ritchie and a brother, Dale.
