Funeral services for Frank J. Langle, 86, of Sioux City, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Gerald Bowen officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery at Akron, Iowa, under direction of the Berkemier Funeral Home.

Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Darold and Gary Tucker, Terry and Dennis Burnight, and Donald and Duane Langle. The Rosary was recited at 8 o'clock Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Langle died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Langle was born January 22, 1885, at Kingsley, Iowa. He moved with his parents to Union County and farmed in the Westfield, Iowa, area until retiring to Sioux City in 1963. He married Elizabeth Glass October 6, 1908, at Garryowen, S.D. She died August 27, 1955, in Sioux City. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Marie) Tucker and Mrs. Patrick (Catherine) Burnight, both of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. John (Katie) Moosmeir of Winner, S.D., Mrs. Fedora (Rose) Chicoine of Jefferson, S.D. and Miss Amber Olson of Elk Point; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
