Elwood K. Radtke

El wood K. Radtke, 82, of Kingsford, Mich., and former Sioux City resident, died Monday, Sept. 21, 1992 at Pinecrest Medical Facility in Powers, Mich., after a brief illness.

Services were held Friday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City. The Rev. Dennis Tevis of Crescent Park United Methodist- church officiated. Burial was in Graceland Park cemetery in Sioux City.

Mr. Radtke was born March 1, 1910, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Blanche Radtke. He married Annie Holmberg in 1935. She died in 1989 in Sioux City. A longtime Sioux City resident, he was plant superintendent for Roberts Dairy for many years until his retirement in 1972. He also farmed in Plymouth county. Mr. Radtke was a former member of Crescent Park United Methodist church in Sioux City.

Survivors include a daughter, Bette and her husband, Martin Weiner of Kingsford, Mich.; a brother, Wayne Radtke of Akron; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Francis, Fern and Willis; and a sister, Ell Vera Larsen.
