Raymond E. Fredrickson

Raymond E. Fredrickson, 75, Bellflower, Calif. former Akron resident died April 5, 1992 in Bellflower.

Burial was in Rose Hills cemetery in Whittier, Calif.

Mr. Fredrickson, was born Sept. 8, 1916, near Akron, in Portland township, Plymouth county, Iowa, to parents Max and Anna Fredrickson. He graduated from the Akron high school in 1936. He entered the U.S. army in March of 1943. He served overseas during World War II in the Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central European Theatre until his discharge.

He married Darlene Bird of Elk Point. They resided in southern California after their marriage. Mrs. Fredrickson preceded him in death.

He is survived by a daughter, Pamalia Palancher; a son, Kimberly Fredrickson; two grandchildren, Marisa Palancher and Raymond Fredrickson; two brothers, Carroll of Sioux City and La Verne of Elk Point; and a sister, Leora McCormick of Downey, Calif. and several nieces and nephews.
