YOUNG WOMAN IS SUMMONED

Lucille Johanna Harms, aged 21, of Brunsville, passed away Tuesday August 28, 1934, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Le Mars following an illness of two months, due to heart trouble and a nervous breakdown.

Miss Harms was born July 28, 1913, in Washington township and lived on the farm with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Harms. She attended the Washington township schools until completion of the eighth grade and then attended the Merrill High School, from which she graduated in 1932. She was planning to attend college and futher fit herself for a career when fate intervened. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and Luther League.

Miss Harms was organist in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church the past five years and a teacher in the Sunday school. She was an accomplished musician, widely known in the community where she passed her life, and her death brings sorrow and regret to all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her death her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Harms; four sisters, Helen, May, Elnora and Gene; one brother, Harvey, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Harms and Ihnke Harms and many other relatives.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the Brunsville Lutheran Church, Rev. A. Schempp, the pastor conducting the services. Interment was in the Brunsville Cemetery.
