Opal A. Boecher

Opal A. Boecher, 73, of Moville died
Saturday, (Sept. 14, 1985) in a Sioux
City hospital after a long illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday in the Moville United Methodist
church. The Rev. Marvin Ceynar
officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park
cemetery in Sioux City, under the
direction of the Christy Morningside
funeral home in Sioux City. A prayer
service was held Monday evening at the
funeral home.

Mrs. Boecher, the former Opal A.
Custer, was born July 11, 1912, in Sioux
City. She graduated from Moville high
school in 1930. She married C. Richard
Boecher Jan. 4, 1933, at Dakota City.

She had made her home in the Sioux
City and Kingsley areas, and for the last
eight and a half years had lived in
Moville.

Mrs. Boecher was a member of
Moville United Methodist church and
United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her husband; one
son, Richard of Sioux City; two daughters,
Deloris Hoffman of Westfield and
Sandra Roggatz of Correctionville; one
sister, Pauline Jensen of Denison; nine
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
