Lloyd E. Hoffman

Lloyd Eugene Hoffman, 48, of
Westfield died unexpectedly Friday,
April 30, 1993, at his home.

Services were held Monday,
May 3, at Schroeder Funeral home
in Akron, with Rev, Elmer Hodge
officiating. Burial was In Pleasant
Valley cemetery at Adaville under
the direction of Schroeder Funeral
home.

Tim Kelley vocalist, sang "The
Old Rugged Cross" and "How
Great Thou Art" accompanied by
Carol Harris, pianist.

Pallbearers were Steve Hoffman,
Ron Hoffman, Johnny Van
Wyk, Ken Van Wyk, Donnie
Hoffman, Jim Hoffman, Rick
Hoffman, Larry Searls.

Mr. Hoffman was born Aug.
31, 1944, at his home place in
Westfield, the son of Ray and
Nellie Marie (Godfrey) Hoffman.

He attended Westfield schools
and lived his entire life on the
same farm.

Survivors include three sisters,
Ida Searls of Westfield, Goldie
Friske of Akron and Betty and
her husband, John Van Wyk of
Ireton; three brothers, Ray Jr. of
Westfield, Kenny and his wife,
Katherine of Westfield, and Donald
of Akron; several nieces and
nephews and great-nieces and
nephews.

He was preceded in death by
his parents; two brothers-in-law,
Lloyd Searls and Arthur Friske; a
nephew, Ronald Searls; and a
niece, Mary Hoffman.
