Mrs. Claire Wingert, 71, Kingsley,
died Sunday (Feb. 19, 1978) at a Sioux
City hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at
Church of the Bethren in Kingsley.

Rev. Norman Meyer will officiate.

Burial will be in Kingsley cemetery under
direction of the Michaelson Funeral
home of Kingsley.

Mrs. Wingert, the former Mary
Elizabeth Foren, was born May 26,
1906, in Chicago. She was married June
1, 1937. in Kingsley. The couple farmed
north of Kingsley for 40 years, retiring
to Kingsley in 1977.

She was a graduate of Morningside
college and taught at schools in the
Kingsley area for 14 years. She was a
member of Church of the Brethren in
Kingsley.

Survivors are her husband; three
sons, Harry of Omaha; Frank of Sioux
City and David of Remsen; two
daughters, Gayle of St. Paul, Minn.,
and Mrs. Robert (Kay) Forsland of
Austin, Minn., and nine grandchildren.
