Lucas Jay Hummel, 2-week old son of Pamela and Alan Hummel, Westfield,
died Aug. 6, 1980, at University hospital in Iowa City. He was taken
there immediately after birth.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 10:30a,m. at St. Joseph's cemetery,
Ellendale, Rev. Dennis L. Sefcik will officiate. Luken-Johnson funeral
home in Le Mars is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his parents, Alan and Pamela (Russell) Hummel; a
brother, Joshua; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hummel of Westfield
and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Russell, Le Mars; great-grandparents, Mrs. Lynn
Hummel of Richland, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Lester Stevens, Westfield, and
Mrs. Edna Kleene, Le Mars.
