ELIZABETH SCHMIDT RITES SET TUESDAY

Elizabeth Schmidt, 81, a native of Merrill, died Saturday at Brentwood Good Samaritan, home in Le Mars.

She had been ill for 60 years and had resided at a Cherokee hospital before coming to Le Mars in l961.

Miss Schmidt, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Schmidt, was a member of the Lutheran church.

Funeral services will Tuesday at the Mauer funeral chapel at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Le Mars Memorial cemetery.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Clara Pausch, Iowa Falls.
