Mrs. R. E. Thomsen, 86, Pierson, died
Monday at a Kingsley nursing home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30
p.m. Wednesday at the Meadow Star
United Methodist church in Grand
Meadow, with the Rev. George Dunn
officiating. Burial will be in Grand Meadow
cemetery.

The former Ollie Buckle was born April
28, 1882, fn Girard.Kan. She was married
Sept. 21 , 1921, and she and her husband
moved to rural Pierson.

She was a member of the Pierson
chapter. Order of Eastern Star for 49 years.

Survivors are her husband, two sons,
Forrest Nairn, Remsen, and Lloyd Nairn,
Correctionville; a daughter, Mrs. John
(Elma) Lindgren, Kingsley; two brothers,
Jessie and Jerry Buckle, Girard; 13
grandchildren: and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Dickinson -
Michaelson funeral home, Kingsley.
