Sioux City – Henrietta E. Harward,
76, of Sioux City, died unexpectedly
Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1996 at a Sioux
City hospital.Mrs. Harward was born March 24,
1919, in Hinton, the daughter of
Frank O. and Elsa M. (Plegar)
Roepke. She graduated from
Central High School and was a long-
time Sioux City resident.She married Edward J. Harward
March 15, 1938, in Dakota City.
She worked as a receptionist at
American Pop Corn Co. for 30
years. Mrs. Harward was a
member of Wesley United Meth-
odist Church and Azure Chapter of
Order of Eastern Star.Survivors include her husband; a
son, Bob and his wife Anita of
Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter
Janice and her husband, Gene
Sandage of Sioux City; six grand-
children; two great-grandchildren;
a brother Carl and his wife Joyce
Roepke of Sioux City; and a sister,
Marge and her husband, Clyde
Blinn, of Minneapolis.She was preceded in death by her
parents.Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday
at Wesley United Methodist
Church in Sioux City with the Rev.
Laurice Streyffeler officiating. Burial
will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Visitation will be from 9 to 9p.m.
today (Wednesday), with the
family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at
Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in
