Barbara McKnight, 82, of Merrill,
was dead on arrival Wednesday (Jan.
16,1985) at the Floyd Valley Hospital
in Le Mars.

Funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday at
the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in
Le Mars, Rev. Donald Bardole officiated.

Burial was in Crystal Lake
Cemetery, at Minneapolis on Monday.

Mrs. McKnight, the former Barbara
Bower, was born Aug. 23,1902, in
Minneapolis to Heistona and Mary
Follan Bower. She lived most of her
adult life in the Sioux City and Merrill
areas.

She married George McKnight in
1951 at Sioux City. He died in 1972.

Survivors are two nieces. Mrs. Bob
(Catherine) Christenson, Minneapolis,
and Carita Bower, Aptos, Calif.,
also ten grand-nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by
two brothers and two sisters.
