Anna A. Dreckman

Mrs. Leo (Anna) Dreckman, 84, Le
Mars, died Saturday (Jan. 19,1985) at
the Floyd Valley Hospital, Le Mars,
after an illness of several weeks.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday
at St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
Le Mars. Her son, the Rev. Phillip F.
Dreckman, S J., will officiate. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery. Monday
at the Luedtke-Feuerstein Funeral
Home, the Christian Mothers will recite
the rosary at 4 p.m. and the parish
at 7:30 p.m.

Six grandsons will be casket bearers.

Mrs. Dreckman, the former Anna
A. Holzman. was born May 25,1900, in
Le Mars to Frank and Catherine Ruba
Holzman. She was a lifelong resident
of Le Mars.

She married Leo Dreckman Feb. 26.
1924, in Le Mars. He died in January of
1977. She was a member of the Christian
Mothers.

Survivors are three sons, the Rev.
Phillip Dreckman. S.J., of Milwaukee,
Larry and Donald, both of Le Mars;
four daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Esther)
Bunkers of Remsen, Mrs. Gene (Eilleen)
Poltebaum of Alvord, Mrs. Jim
(Mary Ann) Arens of Le Mars, and
Sister Peggy C.H.M., of Bellevue; 31
grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by
seven grandchildren; a brother.
Frank Holzman; three sisters. Mrs.
Barbara Deters, Catherine Holzman
and Mrs. Magdalene Dreckman.
