A resident of Plymouth county for
38 years prior to his going to Sioux
City four years ago, Frank De
Rocher, 2801 Myrtle street, died Sunday
at his home. He was 67 years
old.

Mr. DeRocher died of infirmities
following a long illness. In 1923 Mr.
De Rocher retired from active farm
life and went to Sioux City, where
he had made his home since.

Born in Shullsburg, Wisconsin,
September 20, 1860, he lived there
until he was 25 years old, when he
came to Iowa and settled on a farm
in this county.

Surviving are his widow, Hannah;
two sons, Will of Westfield, Ia.
and John of Merrill, la.; two daughters,
Mrs. Henry Beaubien of Merrill
and Miss Nona De Rocher: of
Sioux City; three sisters Mrs. Tom
Harty and Mrs. Ed Mills, of Shullsburg;
and Mrs. E. Mealine, who resides
in Montana, and one brother,
Samuel, of Shullsburg.

Funeral services will be held at
the Ellendale Catholic church in Ply-
mouth county Tuesday morning at
10 o'clock, with Rev. J. A. Forrester
officiating. Interment will be in the
Ellendale Cemetery.

The body is at the family residence
on Myrtle street.
