Mrs. Lena Martin

Funeral services for Mrs. Lena
Martin, 63. Sioux City, who died at
a hospital Tuesday after a two month
sickness, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Westfield Congregational
church. Rev. Albert C.
Walker of the Elk Point, S. D..
Congregational church will officiate.

Burial will be in the Adaville cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was born March 4,
1894, near Villisca, Ia. She went with
her parents to a farm near Akron, Ia.
And on January 15, 1914 was
married to Joseph L. Martin at Le
Mars, Ia. They resided in the Akron
area until 1943, when they came to
Sioux City.

Survivors include the widower; a
son, Marvin of Akron three daughters,
Mrs. Dorothy Boyd, of Sioux Falls,
Mrs. Irene Braun and Mrs. Geraldine
Ransom; both of Sioux City;
a sister Mrs. Harold Jammerthal
of Akron; four brothers, Lone
and Dort Lower, both of Westfield,
Ia.. Fred Lower of Sioux City, and
Fay Lower of Bronson, and five
grandchildren.

The body will remain at the W.
Harry Christy funeral home, Sioux
City, until the time for the services.

Pallbearers will be Ed Kiewel
and Harold Jammerthal, both of
Akron, Paul Hines of Bronson;
Warren Griffith, of Kingsley: Clyde
McKee of Hawarden, and Lloyd
Lawrence of Ireton
