Blanche M. Harris (1918 - 2009)

Beloved mother and grandmother Blanche M. Harris passed from this world to be with her heavenly Father on November 18, 2009 at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. She was born October 21, 1918 to Dr. Charles and Elva Green in Westfield Iowa. On August 13, 1934 she and Frank W. Harris were married in Branson Missouri where their son Charley was born. In 1937 they moved west to Bellingham WA. where their two daughters, Leona & Mary Estella were born. In 1958 they moved to Ellensburg.

Blanche's passions were her flower gardens and traveling. For many years she provided floral bouquets for the Sunday services at the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank and granddaughter Kandi. She is survived by son, Charley (Sue) Harris of Pembroke, Wales; her daughters Leona Powers of North Bend WA and M. Estella Stingley of Yakima WA; 3 granddaughters Brandi (Jack) Eyerly of Ellensburg, Geri Sue (Tom) Heathman of Anatone WA, and Marci (Ron) Finzen of Westfield IA; 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
