"LIFE'S END"

Charlie Green was a Longtime Veterinarian
in Akron Vicinity.

Funeral services for Charlie Edward Green, 80, (should be 81), Akron, will be at 10 am Saturday at the First Church of Christ.
Berle Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in the Adaville Cemetery under direction of the Schrorder Funeral Home.

Mr Green, a retired veterinarian, died Tuesday at his home after a brief illness. He was born April 1, 1886, at Nodaway. In 1902, he moved to a farm near Westfield.

He received a degree from The Veterinary Science Assn. of London, Canada after completing a correspondence course in 1909.

He married Elva McCanon Jan 1, 1914, in Des Moines. Mr Green practiced veterinary medicine in the Akron and Westfield communities untill retiring five years ago.

Survivors are the widow; a daughter, Mrs Blanche Harris of Ellensburg, Wash.; a sister, Mrs Lizzie Burns of Villisca, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
