Death of an Old Resident

Mrs. Kortemeyer. of Lennox, S. D.,
passed away Saturday morning at the
home of her daughter, Melita. She had
been sick with cancer for several years
and had tried to find relief from several
noted physicians.

Mrs. Kortemeyer was a pioneer resi-
dent of Stanton township but moved
to Dakota about 25 years ago. She
leaves a family of grown up sons and
daughters to mourn her loss. Mrs.
Martin Kress, of Merrill vicinity, is
the only daughter here. Henry, living
in Omaha, and the other children
at Lennox, S. D. The funeral was
held Tuesday.
