Mrs. Lizzie Raveling. 78, a Sioux City
resident for nearly 40 years, died
Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1975, at the home of a
great-niece, Mrs. Maurice Arvin. at Anthon
after a long illness.

Mrs. Raveling, the former Lizzie
Nellie Giffrow. was born Nov. 20, 1896,
in Plymouth county. She married
Henry T. Raveling Oct. 6, 1920.

The couple farmed at Remsen, for 15
years. before moving to Sioux City. Mr.
Raveling preceded her in death forty
years ago.

Mrs. Raveling was a member of
Redeemer Lutheran church and the
Church's ladies aid society.

Nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1
p.m. Friday at Reedeemer Lutheran
church on South Lakeport road. Sioux
City. Rev. Paul C. Mueller will officiate
and burial will be in Grant township
Plymouth county, west of Le Mars.
