Stinton, Mrs. Grace 1888-1952

Mrs. Grace Stinton, 64, a lifelong
resident of Plymouth county, died
Tuesday at her home after a sickness
of a year.

Funeral services will be -at 1:30
p. m. Friday at the Mauer funeral;
chapel at Le Mars and at 2 p. m.
at the Merrill, Ia., Methodist church.
Burial will be in an Adaville, Iowa,
cemetery.

Mrs. Stinton was born January
24, 1888. She was married October
24, 1906, to Ira Stinton at Adaville
They farmed in the Merrill community
until 1935, when they moved
into Merrill. In 1937 they moved to
Le Mars.

Surviving besides the widower are
two sons, Bernard of Sioux City and
Mainard of Le Mars; two sisters,
Mrs. Lillian Hill of Sioux City and
Mrs. Clara Lesperance of Phoenix,
Arizona; also two brothers, Fred
Hammond of Merrill, and Harry
Hammond of Sioux City; nine grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.

The deceased was a lifelong member
of Merrill Methodist Church,
the Royal Neighbors lodge, and the
Woman's Guild of St. John's Evangelical
and Reformed Church of Le
Mars.
