Hummel, Goldie F. 1885- 1962

Mrs. Goldie F. Hummel,
77, Jefferson, S.D., resident
died Saturday at her home
after an illness of about a
year.

Mrs. Hummel was born
Sept. 23, 1885 at Coon Rapids.
She came to Plymouth county,
with her parents in 1894. She
was married to Thomas M.
Hummel Oct. 28, 1903, in
Sioux City. They lived on a
farm near Westfield, until 1936
when they moved to Union
county, S. D. Mr. Hummel
died Feb. 22, 1960.

Survivors include five sons,
Earl and Thomas both of
Jefferson, Lynn and Floyd,
both of Elk Point, and
Gordon of Viborg, S. D.
three daughters, Mrs. Verda
Klapprodt, Mrs. Mary Jane
Rosenbaum and Mrs. Sylvia
Rosenbaum all of Jefferson;
two brothers, A. J. Coppock
of Le mars and H. J. Coppock
of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs.
Flossie E. Van Zuiden of Denver,
Colo., and Mrs Verda B. Rojeski
of El Cerrito, Cal.; 24 grand-
children and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will br at 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday at Westfield Congregational
Church.

Graveside services will be conducted
by the Order of Eastern Star at the
Westfield Cemetery.
