Donald J. Lias. 12. son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lias of Westfield, died Thursday Nov. 9, 1972) at Sioux City St. Joseph Mercy hospital after a brief Illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Westfield Congregational Church with Rev. Ralph Burdette officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Akron under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Donald was born May 18, 1960, at Sterling, Ill. He had lived at Westfield since 1962. Donald was a seventh grade student at the Westfield junior high school.

Survivors in addition to his parents are two sisters, Viola and Diana, both at home and his grandparents . Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lias of Westfield.

Funeral services for Donald J. Lias, age 12, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lias of Westfield were held Saturday afternoon, November 11,1972 at the Westfield Congregational Church, Rev..Ralph Burdette officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home. Pall bearers were: Harold Lias, Richard Lilly, Herbert Lias, Charles Lingle, Marlin Hoffman and Matthew Wirth.

Donald died Thursday, November 9 at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Sioux City; following a brief illness. A prayer service was held Friday night at the Schroeder Funeral Home.

He was born May 18, 1960, in Sterling, Illinois and had been a resident of Westfield, Iowa since 1962. Donald was a seventh grade student at Westfield Junior High School.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lias, sisters Viola and Diana, at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lias of Westfield.
