Wayne W, Lias, 67, Westfield. died Monday (Jan, 1,1973) at the Akron hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Westfield Congregational church with Rev. Ralph Burdette officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside cemetery under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron, A prayer service will be at 7;30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born Nov, 2, 1905, in Akron, He farmed in the Akron and Westfield areas. He married Edna Michael Aug. 15,1927, in Elk Point, SD.

Survivors are his wife; two daughters. Mrs. Daryled Hoffman of Westfield. Mrs. Allen Wirth of Blue Earth, Minn.; three sons, Harry of Orofino, Idaho, Donald of Westfield and Norman of Des Moines; 20 grandchildren ; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers. Vernon of Westfield and Melvin of Aberdeen, S.D.
