KITCHEN RITES AT KINGSLEY
Pioneer Woman Died At Home In Minneapolis January 20

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. John W. Kitchen, aged 72, who died at her home in Minneapolis, Minn., on January 20. Death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Kitchen and her husband formerly lived near Kingsley, whre they farmed for a number of years prior to 1904, about three miles northeast of Kingsley.

Angelyn McCline, daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth McCline, was born October 4, 1872, at Marshalltown, Iowa. She grew to womanhood in Marshall and Ida counties. She was united in marriage to John W. Kitchen on December 20, 1890. To this union was born three children, Charles, Nellie Mae, and John; Nellie Mae having died at the age of 18 months.

The family resided at Kingsley and Howard, S.D., until the death of her husband, Dec. 11, 1911. She then moved to Minneapolis and lived there until her death at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 16 days.

She is survived by her two sons, Charles and John, one brother, Harry, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The two sons live at Howard, S.D.
