SEYMOUR, HUMMEL, ROSENBAUM

Mrs. William Seymour, age 68, formerly of Westfield, Iowa, died September 21, at Clinton, Mo. Funeral services were held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, at the Congregational Church at Westfield, the Rev. Michael Conners, officiating. Burial was in the Westfield cemetery, under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron. Casket Bearers were: George Henke, Phillip Henke, Dale Monroe, Robert Clark, Dennis Johnson and Michael Hummel.

Mrs. Seymour, was the former Alta Rosenbaum, born October 17, 1900 near Elk Point, S.D. She was married to Fred Hummel December 2, 1919 and they lived in the Westfield and Elk Point areas. Mr. Hummel died in 1960. On September 12, 1962 she was married to William Seymour at Kansas City, Kansas. They resided at Warsaw, Mo. Mrs. Seymour was a member of the Eastern Star, Truth Rebekah Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary at Elk Point.

Survivors are: her husband; three sons: Walter A. Hummel, Elk Point; Warren A. Hummel, Ligard, Oregon; and Martin D. Hummel, Vancouver, Washington; two daughters; Mrs. Rae L. Henke, South Sioux City, and Mrs. Mary E. Monroe, Sioux City; 16 grandchildren; eight great–grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur Rosenbaum, Harry Rosenbaum and Main Rosenbaum, all of Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Trefren, Akron, and Mrs. Fern Allen and Mrs. Marcella Hammond, both of South Sioux City.
