Fannie Vernon

Mrs. Fannie Suzanna Vernon, who has made her home with a niece, Mrs. Vera Harms in Brunsville, passed away there on June 9, 1955, after a sickness of one week. She was 81 years of age.

Miss Vernon was born on January 22, 1874, in Sandwich, Illinois. She made her home with a brother, Thomas, in Sandwich, for some time, but for the past 27 years she has lived in Brunsville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday, June 11, at St. Peter's Lutheran church in Brunsville. Rev. A. Zenk will officiate. Burial will be in Brunsville, with the Mauer funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mrs. Nora Vernon; nieces, Mrs. Vera Harms and Rose Vernon; a nephew, Thomas Vernon; several grand nieces and grand nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas G. and Paul S. Vernon.
