Marian McHale

BRUNSVILLE — Marian McHale, 71, of Brunsville, died Monday, May 17,1993, at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Brunsville, with Rev. Beth Graham officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery at Brunsville. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. McHale was born Jan. 31, 1922, in Sioux County, the daughter of Grant F. and Matilda (Baack) Hanstein. She married John McHale Nov. 29, 1945; at Craig. They lived' at Brunsville after their marriage. Mrs. McHale was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and the Women of the E.L.C.A. in Brunsville. She was active in Sunday School and church organizations.

Survivors are her husband, John (Jack); two sons, Jack and his wife Celine of Omaha, Neb., and Steve and his wife Glenda of Brunsville; her mother, Matilda (Tillie) Hanstein of Le Mars; four grandchildren, Corey, Dustin, Julianne and Diana; three brothers, Edwin (Bud) Hanstein and his wife Kathryn of Denver, Colo., Wendell Hanstein of Denver, Colo., and Ronald Hanstein and his wife Marlene of Le Mars; and special friends Alvin and Kathryn Willer of Brunsville.
