Funeral services for Mrs. Selma Deutschel, 86, lifelong Plymouth county resident who died Tuesday at Sacred Heart hospital after a two week sickness will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's American Lutheran church in Merrill. Rev K. Hodum will officiate and burial will be in Hillside cemetery at Merrill under direction of the Luken funeral home of LeMars.

Mrs. Deutschle was born August 20, 1875 in Plymouth county. She was married to Phillip Deutschle, February 1, 1897 in Johnson twp. Lutheran church.

She was a member of St John’s church and of the American Legion auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Lieb, of Merrill; a brother, Jacob Lehmann of Merrill, a grandchild and two great grandchildren.
