MRS. FRANK MARTINE

A former longtime resident of LeMars, Irene R. Martine, 80, died Friday, July 6, 1984, at Longmont United Hospital, Longmont, Colo., following a long illness. Memorial services were held in St. Vrain Manor in Longmont.

Following cremation, burial was in Merrill Cemetery.

Mrs. Martine was born October 16, 1903, in Merrill, and was married to Frank E. Martine Sept. 14, 1925, in Aurelia. Mr. and Mrs. Martine were residents of LeMars for over 30 years. Following his retirement from the LeMars Post Office they made their home in Mesa, Ariz., and then in Longmont.

She is survived by a son, Claire Martine, Sparks, Nev., and a daughter, Mary Jean Peketz, Broomfield, Colo., and by five grandchildren.

Her husband, Frank, preceded her in death in 1974.
