MRS. JULIUS OLSON

ELK POINT, S.D.—Mrs. Julius Olson, 80, of Elk Point, died at an Akron, Iowa, hospital on Monday.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Elk Point. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery in Richland, S.D.

Mrs. Olson, the former Florence Ann Talbott, was born on March 6, 1904, in Plymouth County, Iowa. She married Julius Olson on June 21, 1944, at Dakota City, Neb. The couple lived in Richland until moving to Elk Point in 1971. Mr. Olson died in Sioux City in January of 1979.

Mrs. Olson was a member of the United Methodist church in Elk Point.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Emery (Pearl) Powell of Alcester, S.D., Mrs. Wesley (Gladys) Sullivan of Elk Point, and Mrs. Bert (Dora) Lawrence of Elk Point; and two brothers, Clifford of Abilene, Texas, and Clarence of Jefferson, S.D.
