Herman “Jim” Bultman, 77, of Hawarden died Monday (March 28, 1977) in a Hawarden Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral home of Hawarden.

Mr. Bultman was born November 15, 1899, near Hawarden. He was a a lifelong Hawarden area resident and was a farmer.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Hawarden.

Survivors include three brothers, William and Harry, both of Hawarden, and George of Ireton, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Baack of Le Mars, Mrs. Claude McCormick of Canton, South Dakota and Mrs. Sophia Goettsch of Hawarden.
