PETER KNUDSON, 75, WAS LIFELONG KINGSLEY RESIDENT
Funeral services for Peter Knudson, 75, who died Sunday evening at Sacred Heart Hospital following a lengthy illness, will be at 1:30 Wednesday at the Kingsley Methodist church. Burial will be in the Kingsley cemetery.
Mr. Knudson was born April 29, 1887, near Kingsley and spent his entire lifetime in the community. For 47 years he owned and operated the Kingsley Auto Salvage and retired 12 years ago.
He was a volunteer and honorary fireman at Kingsley for 50 years, was a member of the Kingsley Methodist church, the Cosmos Lodge, A.F. and A.M. and the Eastern Star. On July 7, 1913, he married Elma Lissner.
Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Jane Wilcox and Mrs. John McCrimmen, both of Eureka, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Dickinson Funeral Home, Kingsley.
