Mrs. Marcus Kahl, 76, of Inwood died Sunday, May 28, in the Canton-Inwood Hospital following a short illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday (yesterday) May 31, 2:00 p.m. in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at Inwood. The Rev. Anton Kirkegaard officiated. Burial was in Richland Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home of Inwood.

The former Elsie Kock was born on January 7, 1896 in Rock Valley. She married Marcus Kahl on February 7, 1917 at Rock Valley. They farmed in the Rock Rapids, Alvord and Inwood area until retirement in 1965.

Survivors are her widower, three sons, Harvey of Chandler, Arizona, Vernon and Norval of Inwood, George, Edward, Ray and Fritz all of Rock Valley, three sisters, Mrs. Henry Bosler, Mrs. Vern McKenney of Inwood and Miss Tillie Kock of Rock Valley; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
