Wayne Schuller, 42, Hawarden, died Thursday (Aug. 10, 1972) at the Hawarden hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
Funeral services were Saturday at 1:30 pm at the United Methodist church with Rev. Fred Buseman officiating.
Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of the Dow funeral home.
Mr. Schuller was born Feb 9, 1930 near Ireton. He had resided at Ireton, moving to Hawarden five years ago.
He married Patsy Fleming July 14, 1951, at Vermillion South Dakota.
Mr. Schuller was a member of the Eagles lodge at Hawarden and manager - pitcher for the Hawarden softball team.
Survivors are his wife: two sons, Frank of Hawarden and Steven in the navy: three daughers Mrs. Joe (Lynnie) Dykstra of Hawarden, Vicki and Leann both at home. His father and step-mother Mr and Mrs. John Schuller of Sioux Center: a brother, Laurence of Ireton: six sisters : Mrs. Art(Marie) Lours of Ocheyedan, Mrs. Ben (Darlene) Velkamp of Pipestone, Minn: Mrs. Cornie (Muriel) Roskam and Mrs. John (Shirley) Van Iperen, both of Hospers: Mrs. Art (Vera) Foos of Vale, S.D. and Mrs. Ralph (Leona) Voores of Whitewood, S.D. and two grandchildren.
