Called by Death of Father

Mrs. Will Ludwig and brother, Louis Brabander, were called to Le Mars Sunday evening (July 7) by the death of their father, Gerhard Brabander. He had been ill several months. Mr. Brabander was born in Germany May 31, 1850 and so had reached the advanced age of 85 years. He came to America in 1869. In 1888 he came to Le Mars and for the past 47 years, he had resided in Plymouth county. Besides Mrs. Ludwig and Louis Brabander, he is also survived by the following children: Mrs. Herman Renken, John, Henry, and Tena Brabander. Funeral services were held at St. John’s Lutheran church in Le Mars at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon and burial was made at Le Mars.
